These Swanstrom parallel-action fine flat-nose pliers (NR1669) offer an extra-secure grip on your workpiece or wire and are designed for the highest level of strength, durability and comfort. The pliers are parallel from pivot to tip and have flat interior surfaces and squared-off tips. Flat-nose pliers are ideal for making wider, broader bends in wire, for metal-forming, straightening and flattening sheet and wire, making angled bends and holding components. The fine jaws allow you to access close areas to make the desired bends. Parallel action pliers close first at the tips, then the rest of the jaws close as the pliers are squeezed. This ensures a strong, even grip on your workpiece. • The compound joint keeps the jaws parallel as they open and close, and deliver even pressure along the entire length of the jaw, eliminating slipping.
