Manufactured in the USA, this cutter provides decades of consistent service.• Both plates and punches are made of S7 shock-resistant tool steel through hardened to 55 HRC.Precision-ground punch surfaces deliver smooth edges that require minimal cleanup, reducing your finishing time. Tight tolerances between the punches and the die plates ensure clean cuts while prolonging the service life of the cutter.The spring-loaded die plates allow you to easily open and close the cutter according to the thickness of the metal being punched. They securely clamp your metal to prevent distortion and keep your fingers out of the way. This bracelet cutter is great for soft materials up to 16 gauge (2.59mm) when using a Bonny Doon hydraulic press. Use a urethane pad (1/16" thick, 95 durometer; available separately) under the cutters to reduce noise, support your cutters, protect your work surface and ensure a crisp cut.
