These mid-size premium-quality German round-nose pliers are a first-rate general use tool, suitable for all types of bench tasks, including making loops, jump rings, coils and curved bends. The extra-long jaws offer the greatest reach into close areas as well as increased leverage for making bends. Manufactured from the finest Swedish tool steel, these pliers are preferred for their precision, comfort and uncompromising quality.• These pliers have a box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other half, and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed. The spring delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.• The plastic-dipped handles are comfortable even over hours of work.
