Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec flat-nose pliers feature precision edges and contours that deliver smooth, repeatable bends and curves in metal and wire. On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat; they are ideal for making wider, broader bends in wire, metal-forming, straightening and flattening out metal, making angled bends, closing prongs and holding components. The interior surface of the jaws is smooth, reducing the risk of marring the workpiece. The jaws are made of C70 steel that is hardened to 62 HRC. • Adjustable lap joint; a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed. • Double-leaf spring that holds the handles apart until they are squeezed closed. This spring delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • Italtec tools handles are ergonomic and provide a comfortable grip while reducing hand fatigue and allowing you to work longer. All Italtec tool handles are made from Polyemi™ and are latex-free.
