These Del Rey™ forming pliers feature one flat jaw and one half-round jaw, ideal for making a wide variety of bends in wire or flat stock. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. Bend the wire against the flat jaw to create wider, broader curves or to make angled bends; form the wire against the half-round jaw for tighter curves. The shorter 5" overall length offers a better fit for smaller hands and a slightly shorter jaw ideal for fine work. The tough, rust-resistant stainless steel delivers a reasonable tool life and good value. • The pliers have a sturdy box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other half and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size. • The textured, ergonomically shaped handles ensure a comfortable, non-slip grip that reduces hand fatigue.
