90° Bending Pliers

The top jaw of these bending pliers is curved; the bottom jaw is wide, flat and V-grooved—when used on wire or flat stock, they create a round-cornered, 90° angle bend. These pliers are for use on wire up to 10 gauge or stock up to 22 gauge. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. They are ideal for creating ring shanks, opposing curves (waves or corrugation), angles and patterns. These pliers are made of hardened tool steel, a strong material for pliers and cutters; the jaws will not be nicked or deformed with normal use. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture.• These pliers have a box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.• The handles are dipped in plastic to ensure a firm and comfortable grip.
