This cross-over design of this substantial 14-karat yellow gold chain combines features of both figaro-style and rope-style chain, making this a bold, visually fluid chain that presents beautifully when worn alone or when partnered with cuff, bangle or other chain-style bracelets. Attractive diamond-cut finishing highlights the design. Figaro chains feature one longer link alternating with 3–5 smaller links; all are twisted to lie flat, similar to a curb chain. Rope chains features twisted links that are each connected to two other links in a continuous row. Diamond-cut versions have facets precision-cut into the links with diamond-tipped tools. The facets are then polished to enhance the light-reflecting properties of the link surfaces.
