De A-klassade sötvattenskultiverade potatisformade pärlorna på denna sträng har en Raven's Wing djup blå-lila iriserande färg med tillfälliga gyllene övertoner som fångar blicken – pärlorna varierar något i storlek och form, vilket tillför intresse till skräddarsydda halsbands- och armbandsdesigner. Trä dem ensamma för att skapa ett enfärgat halsband eller armband, eller separera pärlorna och kombinera dem med andra färger av pärlor och ädelstenspärlor – framhäv pärlornas färg med silverfynd. Sötvattenskultiverade pärlor odlas i sötvatten från musslor, ofta trekantsmusslan (Hyriopsis cumingii), som är särskilt utvalda för sin rikliga produktion av pärlemor. Det är inte ovanligt att en enda mussla producerar flera pärlor samtidigt. Enligt en legend bildades pärlan från kärleksgudinnans tårar. För många är pärlor en symbol för rent hjärta och sinne, ärlighet och integritet. A-klassade pärlor har ytor med några obetydliga fläckar. Deras lyster är god och visar viss djup. Varje förpackning innehåller en tillfälligt trådad 15"–16" sträng.
The A-grade freshwater cultured potato-shaped pearls on this strand feature a Raven's Wing deep blue-purple iridescent color with occasional gold overtones that catches the eye—the pearls vary slightly in size and shape, adding interest to custom necklace and bracelet designs. String them on their own to make a single-color necklace or bracelet, or separate the pearls and combine them with other colors of pearls and gemstone beads—highlight the color of the pearls with silver findings.
Freshwater cultured pearls are cultivated in fresh water from mussels, often the triangle shell mussel (Hyriopsis cumingii), that are specially selected for their prolific production of nacre. It is not unusual for a single mussel to produce multiple pearls simultaneously. According to one legend, the pearl was formed from the tears of the goddess of love. For many, pearls are a symbol of pure heart and mind, honesty and integrity.
A-grade pearls feature surfaces that show a few insignificant blemishes. Their luster is good, exhibiting some depth.
