This elegant and highly-textured leatherette-covered gift box accommodates one chain-style bracelet or bracelet-style watch band. The leatherette is a durable man-made material that imitates the pebbled surface typical of stingray leather; the characteristic granular pattern of the stingray, ground flat to reveal the lighter, inner color of the granules, presents an attractive, luxury look and feel that is ideal for presenting any jewelry item. Dyed gray, the substantial textured material covers a hinged wood box; the interior of the box offers a dark slate-gray soft suede material that covers the hinge and lines the interior of the box. The insert includes a satin pull-tab that makes it easy to lift the jewelry out of the box without distorting or damaging it.
Known for centuries as "shagreen," the texture of these exotic leathers have been popular and in high demand for high-end luxury accent and accessory items.
