Vernoemd naar zijn continue ringvormige zaagblad, is deze tafelmodel Taurus 3 ringzaag net zo leuk en gemakkelijk te gebruiken als hij effectief is voor precisiesnijden van steen, glas, keramiek, kunststof, metaal en meer. Slim ontworpen om de zaag van de basiseenheid te verwijderen, verandert de zaag in een handzaam draagbaar gereedschap dat het werk doet dat niet naar de tafel kan komen.
- Het ruime werkoppervlak (17-3/4"B x 16"D) is geperforeerd in een rasterpatroon om koelwater terug te laten stromen naar het reservoir en om accessoires te accepteren voor perfecte rechte, cirkel- en hoekige sneden. Accessoires (beschikbaar op speciale bestelling) hebben pinnen die in het raster passen waar u ze nodig heeft en zijn eenvoudig te plaatsen, verwijderen en verplaatsen.
- Het zaagblad (inbegrepen en geïnstalleerd) is een snijblad dat u toelaat zowel vooruit als achteruit te zagen, waarbij de minste hoeveelheid materiaal wordt verwijderd, op glas, stenen en metaal. Het blad is elektrolytisch gecoat met 100/120 grit en bevat een Kevlar®-versterkte aandrijfriem. Gefabriceerd met de fijnste kerf van alle Taurus-zaagbladen, is dit blad breed en vlak, wat uitstekende sterkte biedt voor betrouwbare, snelle en rechte sneden. De kerf van 1/8" is altijd de dikte van het blad. Dit blad wordt gebruikt voor extreem scroll-zaagwerk op alle harde materialen. Omdat het blad slechts 1 mm dik maar 1/8" breed is, is het zeer sterk, snijdt snel en gaat ongeveer 40–60 uur effectief snijden mee.
- Het zaaglichaam, gemonteerd op de tafel, kan werkstukken tot 1-3/8" dikte verwerken en heeft een keeldiepte van 5-5/8".
- Een verstelbare stabilisatorvoet (inbegrepen) wordt eenvoudig aan de zaagarm bevestigd en past zich aan om nauw aan te sluiten bij de dikte van het werkstuk. Kleine ringen op de voet minimaliseren beweging van het zaagblad voor preciezer snijden.
- Een ingebouwd spotlicht verlicht fel het directe zaaggebied terwijl u werkt, waardoor u een duidelijk zicht heeft op uw voortgang.
- De basis bevat een waterreservoir dat constante koeling en smering biedt aan het zaagblad en het werkstuk—en het zaagontwerp voorziet in boordwater voor koeling dat met u meereist bij gebruik van de zaag in de draagbare opstelling.

Cleverly designed to allow you to remove the saw from the base unit, the saw converts to a hand-held portable tool that goes to work that can't come to the table top. • The roomy work surface (17-3/4"W x 16"D) is pierced in a grid pattern to allow coolant water to return to the reservoir and to accept accessories for perfect straight, circle and angled cuts. Accessories (available by special order) have pegs that fit into the grid wherever you need them and are a snap to insert, remove and re-position. • The saw blade (included and installed) is a slicer blade that allows you to cut forward and backward, removing the least amount of material, on glass, stones and metal. The blade is electroplated with 100/120 grit and includes a Kevlar®-enforced drive belt. Manufactured with the finest kerf of any of the Taurus saw blade, this blade is broad and flat, giving you excellent strength for dependable, fast, straight cutting. Its 1/8" kerf is always the blade thickness. This blade is used for extreme scroll-cutting on all hard materials. Because the blade is only 1mm thick but 1/8" wide, it is very tough, fast-cutting and will last for about 40–60 hours of effective cutting. • The saw body, installed on the table, accommodates workpieces up to 1-3/8" thick and has a throat depth of 5-5/8". • An adjustable stabilizer foot (included) attaches easily to the saw arm and adjusts to closely match the thickness of the workpiece. Small grommets on the foot minimize blade movement for more precise cutting. • A built-in spotlight brightly illuminates the immediate cutting area as you work, giving you a clear view of your progress. • The base holds a reservoir of water that provides constant cooling and lubrication to the saw blade and workpiece—and the saw design provides on-board water for cooling that goes with you when using the saw in the portable set-up. • The 1/5hp motor runs on 110 volts and has a built-in internal transformer that ensures it will handle almost any material—work patiently, and allow the blade to do the work, as denser materials will take a bit longer to cut.
