Deze chasinghamer van Fretz® is ideaal voor zwaarder chasing-, beitel-, klink- of peenwerk. Het grote, platte ronde vlak is bedoeld om chasinggereedschap of ponsen te slaan; het kleinere halve bolvlak is bedoeld voor peenen en klinken. Bij correct gebruik wordt de zwaarte van het hoofd, in plaats van de spieren in je arm en hand, gebruikt om de neerwaartse beweging van dit gereedschap aan te drijven. Ontworpen door Bill Fretz, is deze hamer gebouwd voor stevigheid en duurzaamheid. Het handvat is gemaakt van Padauk-hout, bekend om zijn sterkte, stabiliteit en schoonheid, en is met olie afgewerkt; het is speciaal gevormd om je een lichte aanraking te geven, en de vernauwde nek creëert een lichte veerkracht die een lichte terugslag bij elke slag mogelijk maakt, wat zorgt voor verbeterde controle en verminderde spiervermoeidheid. This chasing hammer from Fretz® is ideal for heavier chasing, chiseling, riveting or peening work. The large, flat round face is intended for striking chasing tools or punches; the smaller half-ball face is intended for peening and riveting. When used properly, the weight of the head, rather than the muscles in your arm and hand, drives the downward motion of this tool.
Designed by Bill Fretz, this hammer is built for toughness and durability. The handle is made of Padauk wood, known for its strength, stability and beauty, and is oil-finished; it's specially shaped to give you a light touch, and the narrowed neck creates a slight springiness that allows some bounce-back with each strike, producing improved control and reduced muscle fatigue. The head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and effectiveness.
