Deze Fretz® chasing hammer heeft één groot rond vlak, ideaal voor het slaan op chasing tools of ponsen, en één kleiner halfbolvormig vlak voor peening en klinken. This Fretz® chasing hammer features one large round face, ideal for striking chasing tools or punches, and one smaller half-ball face for peening and riveting. The face size, head weight, shape and length of the handle are all designed according to Bill Fretz's specifications for the ideal chasing hammer. The hard, smooth, 9” handle features a pistol-grip that makes the most of every strike; the narrowed neck creates a slight springiness that allows some bounce-back with each strike, producing improved control and reduced muscle fatigue.
Designed by Bill Fretz, this jeweler's hammer is built for toughness and durability. The handle is made of Padauk wood, known for its strength, stability and beauty, and is oil-finished; it's specially shaped to give you a light touch, and the thin neck flexes slightly as you hammer for ultimate comfort. The head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and effectiveness.
