This set of three bending bars includes three diameters, 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2", designed to fit perfectly into your Bonny Doon hydraulic press using the long-post magnetic fixture (available separately). Use them to perfectly bend sheet and wire, or form cuff and bangle bracelets, contours for larger designs and hollowware without any of the kinks, bends and marring that are part of the process when using traditional hammering techniques. The top of each bar is flat with precisely machined recesses that fit perfectly onto your Bonny Doon magnetic fixture; it is securely held in place as you operate the press to shape your metal. Secure the fixture in place first in the upper platen of your press.

Working incrementally, shape your wire, bracelet blank or metal strip from one end to the other; the metal wraps itself around the sleeve as you work, preserving textures, design details and the integrity of the metal with no marring or distortion. The bars have a smooth, high-polish finish.
