This asbestos-free absorbent flask paper effectively wicks away moisture from platinum-casting investment, helping to ensure thorough, even curing of the investment around your patterns. The material is ideal for both high-temperature investments and for any metals that must cool to room temperature before devesting. This 3-1/2"-round, 1/16"-thick paper can be trimmed as needed to fit into the base of a variety of flask sizes, up to 3-1/2" diameter; for larger flasks, set the paper in the center of the flask base or use two or more sheets to line the flask bottom (trim to avoid overlapping).
