This European deadblow mallet features steel shot inside the head that follows and sustains the blow, increasing leverage and power and minimizing bounce-back during striking. The flat faces are made of durable, high-impact white nylon that forms and shapes without marring metal, minimizing the finishing time required, and are easily replaced when worn. Mallets are defined by their large heads and broad, flat faces; they are useful for forming, bending and shaping metal. Deadblow mallets feature a hollow head filled with loose steel shot or weights. With each blow, the shot slides from one end of the head to the other, maximizing the power of the strike, stabilizing the impact and reducing rebound and reverberation back into the hand and arm.
