Xuron #9100F Oval-Head Micro-Shear Flush Cutters with Retainer

These precise flush cutters are made for more delicate applications; the slim head allows access to hard-to-reach spaces and the Micro-Shear® blades are precisely ground to cut accurately in very dense areas. A handy retainer on the upper jaw catches and holds the cut piece of cord or wire to keep it from flying off. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. The oval head shape helps extend the life of the cutting blades. A dark matte finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed.• Molded plastic, non-slip grips and a gentle return spring ensure comfort and security during use, even over extended work periods,Xuron® cutters are made from induction-hardened tool steel for exceptionally long service.
