These wire-twisting pliers let you quickly and easily put an even, uniform twist in any type of wire. To use, secure the U-bend of a doubled length of wire in your bench vise or over a nail, grasp the loose ends in pliers, squeeze the handles and use the chrome slide to lock them down, then pull the knob. Release the pliers while still holding the knob; the pliers will spin, smoothly and evenly twisting the wire. This size of pliers easily handles most gauges of wire. A cutting blade is built into the pliers at the base of the jaw, eliminating the need to juggle two tools when cutting the twisted wire.• These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves.
