Ultra-Fine Round-Nose Pliers

These round-nose pliers are designed for delicacy and precision of wire work; the ultra-fine tips allow you to make small loops with great accuracy, and the tool’s small size (4-1/2" overall length) allows for fine movements and delicate work. On round-nose pliers, both jaws are round, tapering from the pivot to the tip; ideal for making loops, jump rings, clasps, coils and curved bends. • These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves. • A double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed. The spring holds the pliers open and ready to use; make your bend, then simply release pressure to open the jaws. • The handles are dipped in a plastic coating for added comfort, even with fine work over long periods of time.
