This 18-gauge high-copper wire solder is self-fluxing because it contains phosphorus, eliminating the need for added flux. The solder is a gray color in the finished piece, so is best used for hidden joins rather than exposed seams where color matching is needed. Easy to handle, wire solder is often used for 'stick' soldering, allowing to you to continually 'feed' solder to your task as you work.

This wire solder is packaged in a coil to prevent damage, and is sold by the pound (approx. 220 ft.).
