These heavy-duty flush cutters have angled jaws that are ideal for cleanly cutting closely packed sprue trees. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. The oval head shape helps extend the life of the cutting blades. A dark, matte finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.• These cutters have a compound joint that offers two pivot points and keeps the jaw edges parallel as they open and close, creating even pressure along the entire jaw for a clean, straight cut.• The adjustable jaw stop protects cutting edges from damage caused by them colliding with each other (a thread of light should be visible when blades are closed). The jaw stop prevents over-extension of the tool, which can distort the jaw shape or stress the pivot joint.
