Once assembled with a sealing rod, this assembly serves to seal the crucible pour hole in your Neutec® J-2R™ during the melt. The assembled sealing rod also holds and protects the thermocouple from molten metal and transfers temperature readings quickly to the casting machine's temperature controller. Use a ceramic sealing rod and IZ-100 cement to complete the sealing rod assembly.
