Flat Stock and Wire Shaping Pliers

These sturdy, powerful forming pliers are ideal for bending and shaping even thick gauges of flat stock and wire; the replaceable nylon and metal adjustment sleeves let you adapt the tool to the metal you’re working with. The steel roller (12mm diameter) forms rings (diameters as small as a size 4 ring or as large as a bangle bracelet) quickly and easily. Choose a metal or nylon sleeve (included) to adjust the curve of your arc. The nylon sleeves help to prevent marring of your metal as you work. The parallel jaw closure keeps the bend true and helps ends meet exactly. The adjustable jaw closure consistently forms stock and wire up to 6-gauge without pinching or binding, allowing you to repeatedly achieve the same pressure on your material. These pliers are constructed of heavy-duty aircraft aluminum, specially hardened for durability. Two metal and two Delrin® adjustment sleeves (14mm and 15mm) are included; more can be ordered separately, extending the life of the tool.• The compound joint offers two pivot points and keeps the jaw edges parallel to each other as they open and close, creating even pressure along the entire jaw.
