You can also use it to emboss patterns into metal sheet.• The planishing block is case hardened to 52 HRC and is well finished to prevent marring metal surfaces. • A built-in recoil spring brings the striker up, making it ready to push down again making planishing faster and almost effortless. • The body of the press is made of heavy cast iron and offers substantial weight to support the power of the striker blows. • Pre-drilled holes in the base accept 3/8" (10mm) bolts, making it easy to mount the press to your worksurface.
