Dura-BULL® 4"-5" Trim Saw

Use this Dura-BULL® trim saw to shape cabochon pre-forms or to cleanly trim facet material, opals and rock slabs of all types. The saw table has a generous working area, measuring 7 1/2" x 4 3/4" and its 5/8" aluminum arbor accommodates 4" or 5" saw blades (includes one 5" diamond blade). The housing is made of durable, virtually unbreakable polyethylene that is easy to clean and will never rust. The housing and all plastic parts are guaranteed for as long as you own the machine. The motor is a 1/4hp, heavy-duty direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings; it is built to work all day, every day, delivering speeds from 800rpm up to 3,400rpm. The coolant reservoir, built right into the base, cleans away sludge and residue with minimal mess and holds up to 8 oz. of cooling water; a built-in splash guard keeps the water off your work clothes and on your workpiece, where it can do the most good. The reservoir is easy to drain and clean. An adjustable saw blade guide/vise is available separately to secure your work as you cut and to help you ensure precise, repeatable results.
