This dead-soft, 28-gauge bronze bezel strip is an economical way to get just the right amount of material in the gauges you need. The strip is useful for forming custom-shaped or larger bezel mountings or for making bezel backings for small stones. Dead soft bezel strip is easy to bend, shape and hammer; it is an ideal starting point for forming, shaping and wire-wrapping. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable (by annealing or heat-hardening) and is relative among metal types (each temper will feel and handle differently from one metal to another). When finishing your pieces, also keep in mind that the harder the metal is, the brighter a finish it will take.

Sold in a 1 lb. spool.

Bronze fabrication material offers a slightly antiqued yellow-metal look ideal for mixed metal and alternative-metal designs. As a base metal, bronze also provides a very affordable price point.
