Technique™ Compact Soldering Kit

This Technique™ compact soldering kit includes a small butane torch and a variety of accessories that allow you to set up anywhere and get to work. Use the flat-bottomed ceramic dish and borax bar to create a flux slurry that you apply to protect sensitive areas of your workpiece against heat as you solder; simply add a few to several drops of distilled water to the inside of the dish, then rub the bar carefully but vigorously against the ceramic until you produce a pastelike slurry. Apply the flux to the piece using the included flux brush. The soldering block is made of vermiculite, durable and heat resistant—ideal for soldering tasks.
