Swanstrom Wire-Working Kit

This kit (NR1434) includes all three of Swanstrom's popular wire-shaping pliers, giving you everything you need to shape findings from wire with professional resutls.

The Swanstrom ear-wire forming pliers create ear wires of varying lengths and styles quickly, easily and beautifully; they are ideal for creating a consistently repeated design of ear wire for production or collection pieces. The spiral-forming pliers from Swanstrom make it easy to quickly shape perfect spirals in wire up to and including 10 gauge. Two Delrin® platens keep the wire flat in the tool, while protecting even soft wire from marring and scratching. The Swanstrom small wire-looping pliers create consistent, perfect loops every timeare and are ideal for making head pins or ear wires. The pliers accommodea wire up to 18 gauge and include an extra hex nut, a Allen wrench, a Torx® wrench (to tighten jaws) and an Allen wrench (to adjust the width between jaws). • These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • A jaw stop prevents over-extension of the tool and allows for even, repeatable pressure. • The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • The Soft-Touch™ sure-grip foam handles are longer, wider and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use. All Swanstrom tool handles are latex free.
