These slim round-nose pliers have a smaller size and slender profile that make them ideal for the most delicate bench and wire-wrapping tasks; the lightweight tool is intended for use with finer gauges of wire. On round-nose pliers, both jaws are round, tapering from the pivot to the tip; ideal for making loops, jump rings, clasps, coils and curved bends.• These pliers have a box spring; one half of the joint surrounds the other, and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.• A double-leaf spring consisting of two flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle and positioned to meet, holds the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed; the spring delivers quick springback and reduced hand strain.• The handles are dipped in a blue plastic coating to help ensure hours of comfortable fine work.
