Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec bent chain-nose pliers feature precision edges and contours that provide smooth, repeatable bends and curves. On bent-chain-nose, the jaw tips of a chain-nose pliers are bent perpendicular to the joint, enhancing reach and visibility for certain tasks. The jaws are made of C70 steel that is hardened to 62 HRC. • These pliers have a lap joint, in which one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves. The screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • Italtec tools handles are ergonomic and provide a comfortable grip while reducing hand fatigue and allowing you to work longer. All Italtec tool handles are made from Polyemi™ and are latex-free.
