Ideal for smoothing and shaping flat or contoured surfaces and suitable for all metal types, including platinum, these Hermes sponge sanding pads provide medium flexibility and conform easily to curves. Its convenient, hand-size shape can be folded or trimmed to fit into smaller areas. Use the pads wet or dry for a wide variety of metal, model-making and lapidary applications; pads will not gouge surfaces. These high-quality pads are made of durable foam rubber and are permanently bonded with aluminum oxide abrasive. This assortment includes one each of seven grits: 60, 100, 180, 220, 280, 400 and 600.
