The components of the system are based on years of experience setting stones and teaching his skills to other jewelers. • A pair of bell-shaped jaw attachments designed enhance the function of the vertical and horizontal drawbars. • Two drawbar sizes accommodate rings of almost any width. • The vertical ring holder features a spherical base that permits multi-axis movement for superior access to the surfaces you are working on. • The fixture also includes two full 10-piece expanding mandrel sets organized in a high-quality aluminum tray. GRS® MicroBlock The GRS® MicroBlock® allows you to access your piece from almost any angle. The smooth self-centering jaw system (2-1/4”, 57.1mm max. opening) is great for detailed engraving and stone setting. An internal brake system ensures a strong, steady grip. The vise is machined from solid stainless steel and finished with a special low-glare treatment to reduce eye strain. Includes four pins, a bases, two Allen wrenches, and six screws. Microscopic Work A low profile makes the MicroBlock® ideal for exacting tasks with the aid of a microscope. The vise configuration provides stability for your work and allows quick and easy positioning adjustment of your piece without changing the alignment of the microscope or its field of view. You can even adjust it without taking your eyes from the microscope.
