This planishing PrecisionSmith hammer from the economical Maker® line from Fretz® is ideal for work on lighter metal gauges, for filigree and other fine work, and for texturing. Planishing hammers feature one round, flat face and one round, slightly domed face; both are polished to a mirror shine to refine metal surfaces and for finishing work, smoothing and removing tool marks left by previous finishing steps.
