Taken step by step, the four charges in this kit perform the rough-cut through the final polish on many stones at once. Mass finishing is intended to handle a lot of stones at the same time and takes about 8 days per step using this kit. The multitude of stones serves as it own media, enhancing the finishing process (without needing any added media), along with the appropriate charge from this kit, some water and a bit of detergent.
