This German-made Baseplex mallet features two flat, non-marring faces, one of white nylon and one of red celluloacetate; the impact area is made of die-cast zinc for strength and durability. Both faces are removable, so they can be easily replaced when worn. The nylon and celluloacetate are both easy on the surface of the metal; this is an ideal tool for bending, forming, shaping and flattening metal without leaving unwanted marks behind, saving time in the finishing stage. The handle is crafted from ash wood and curved to fit the hand comfortably with a secure grip.
