This Glardon Vallorbe® half-round wax hand file offers you two files in one—coarse and medium cuts—to help you quickly and effectively shape your wax designs, right down to the finest details. The tapered, half-round file has one flat and one rounded side with teeth on both, making it easy to work on the inside of wax rings and other curved and contoured areas.
Wax files feature broad patterns of coarse teeth that quickly and efficiently cut and shape hard wax and other relatively soft materials for model-making. The teeth resist clogging to allow you to form the basic shape for your design models and then refine their details prior to creating molds.
The first choice for most jewelers, Glardon Vallorbe® files are manufactured to the highest production standards, made in Switzerland of the finest heat-tempered chrome-alloy steel, hardened to 65 HRC. The files are precision-ground to cut quickly and accurately and to last longer than just about any other file on the market.
