The design of this brass EZ-Lobster clasp features an open attach ring that makes it easy to attach the clasp to custom necklace and bracelets—no jump ring needed. To use slide the open loop of the clasp through the end of your strand or chain and use chain-nose pliers to close the loop. Add a plain or fancy ring to the opposite side of the strand and use the spring-activated lever on the clasp to secure the necklace or bracelet. One of the most common clasp styles, the lobster clasp is a secure and easy-to-use closure that pairs well with a variety of jewelry styles. Named for its resemblance to the action of a lobster claw, this clasp features a hook shape with a spring-operated closure. Simply press the ring at the opposite end of the strand against the closure, pushing it open enough to let the ring pass onto the hook (or press the release lever to open the closure). The spring holds the clasp closed until the lever pulls it open to release the ring. This clasp is plated with yellow gold to help you offer customers the color of gold at a more attractive price.
