These Swanstrom flat round-nose pliers (S986E) are the perfect tool for making repeated, identical bends in wire. A knurled set screw allows you to adjust the stop and achieve the exact same pressure again and again. One jaw is flat and one is round, ideal for making a wide variety bends in wire or flat stock. Bend the wire against the flat jaw to create wider, broader bends or to make angled bends; bend the wire around the round jaw to make loops, jump rings, coils and sharper curves. • These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • The Soft-Touch™ sure-grip foam handles are longer, wider and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use.
