Specifically designed to meet the needs of wire-wrappers, the three-step jaw of these wire-wrapping pliers gives you the ability to create the widest variety of loop sizes without changing tools. The stepped barrels, approx. 2.4, 4.1 and 5.2mm diameter, are approx. 9.2mm long. One of the jaws is chain nose, providing a flat interior surface facing the stepped barrels.• These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves.• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.• The handles are dipped in plastic to ensure a firm and comfortable grip.
