Because they must be run at a consistent speed between 35,000 and 40,000rpm, we recommend you use a micro-motor. Higher speeds and steady handling of the tools provide longer life of the diamond. Diamond flywheels are designed for skilled professional use; if you’re not experienced with diamond flywheels, we strongly recommend that you begin with a carbide practice tip.
