Le tumbling MT-4 Mini-Sonic fonctionne sans pièces mobiles—pas d’arbres, de courroies, de poulies, de poids tournants ni même de moteur—aucune pièce à entretenir, user ou remplacer. Ce tumbling convertit le courant électrique en vibrations (plus de 3 500 vibrations/minute) qui entraînent la rotation de la charge. L’intensité des vibrations est réglable grâce à des commandes électroniques à semi-conducteurs. Pendant que les pièces tournent, elles sont alternativement séparées puis rapprochées ; ce cycle permet à l’abrasif frais de pénétrer entre les bijoux tout en laissant la cuve pratiquement immobile sur votre surface de travail. Comparé à d’autres tumblers, le Mini-Sonic nécessite seulement une petite quantité d’abrasifs ; l’abrasif se décompose et se mélange à l’eau, formant une boue extrêmement efficace.

The MT-4 Mini-Sonic tumbler operates with no moving parts—no shafts, belts, pulleys, spinning weight or even a motor—no parts to maintain, wear out or replace. This tumbler converts electric current into vibrations (more than 3,500 vibrations/minute) that power the rotation of the load. The intensity of the vibration is adjustable using solid state electronic controls. While parts tumble, they are alternately separated and pushed together; this cycling allows fresh abrasive to be drawn into and among the jewelry pieces yet leaves the hopper itself practically motionless on your work surface. Compared to other tumblers, the Mini-Sonic requires only a small amount of abrasives; the abrasive breaks down and combines with the water, forming a slurry that is extremely effective. • Cast aluminum base with easy-to-remove solid vinyl 1-pint hopper. • Solid-state rheostat controls vibration.
