These ring-shank shaping pliers feature one gently concave and one gently convex jaw; the jaws nest together long their length to securely grip wire and metal strips when bending them to form ring shanks. Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet; this tool is best used with lighter-gauge wire (9 gauge and under).
