These tough, durable bevel cutters (NR1716) from Swanstrom handle heavy cutting well; they are ideal for fabrication and initial sizing of stock and can handle wire up to 10 gauge as well as Beadalon®. The most durable of cutters, bevel cutters require more pressure to make the cut; they have a distinct V-notch on the back surface and leave a pronounced pinch at the ends of the material, which will require finishing if it will show in the completed piece. A dark, matte finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.• These cutters have an adjustable lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves.
