These ear-wire forming pliers (NR1199) from Swanstrom are specifically designed to create ear wires of varying lengths and styles quickly, easily and beautifully—ideal for creating a consistently repeated design of ear wire for production or collection pieces. A peg for forming a loop slides along a slot in one jaw and can be secured at any point, allowing you to determine the precise distance of the loop from the curve in the wire. • These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • The knurled jaw stop allows you to achieve even, repeatable pressure with no over-extension of the tool. • The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • The Soft-Touch™ sure-grip foam handles are longer, wider and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use.
