• Diese Schneider haben ein Überlappgelenk; eine Hälfte des Gelenks überlappt die andere, und durch beide Hälften ist eine Schraube angebracht, sodass das Gelenk nach Bedarf angepasst werden kann.
• Die Doppelblattfeder besteht aus flachen, gehärteten Metalllaschen, die an der Innenseite jedes Werkzeuggriffs angebracht sind. Sie sind so positioniert, dass sie die Griffe auseinander halten (und die Backen offen), bis sie zusammengedrückt werden.
