Cut with a laser, the jaws on these Italtec tapered-head micro-bevel cutters feature sharp, precision edges that make crisp, repeatable cuts. Bevel cutters are the most durable of cutters; they require more pressure to make the cut and have a distinct V-notch on the back surface that leaves a pronounced pinch at the ends of the material. Micro-bevel cutters are designed with smaller heads and finer jaws that have a more pronounced taper, improving access to finer details or close work areas; protect the tips against damage by cutting at the center of the jaw. The jaws are made of C70 steel hardened to 62 HRC; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and tend to keep their shape. Clean with Cosmoline® or a similar protectant; avoid contact with moisture. • Adjustable lap joint; a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed. • Double-leaf spring that holds the handles apart until they are squeezed closed. This spring delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • Italtec tools handles are ergonomic and provide a comfortable grip while reducing hand fatigue and allowing you to work longer. All Italtec tool handles are made from Polyemi™ and are latex-free.
