On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat with a smooth interior surface; use them for making wider, broader bends in wire, metal-forming, straightening and flattening out metal and strip, making angled bends in metal and holding components. The tough, rust-resistant stainless steel delivers reasonable tool life and good value. • These pliers have a sturdy box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other half, and the pivot is contained within.
