Kliar BX1 E-Coating, Extreme Black

Kliar BX is a polyurethane-based e-coating and deposits an opaque, jet-black layer that hides any surface defects. Pieces treated with Kliar e-coating never lose the look, feel and sound of the metal that is at their core. Suitable for any conductive metal, e-coating is ideal for coloring or decorating all kinds of jewelry items. Pieces coated with e-coatings become hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant. The final coating, which can achieve thicknesses from 5–25µ, offers a medium gloss and can be used either a base coat primer, prior to a top coat, or as a final surface finish due to the visually appealing dark black color. The paint has a very high resistance to corrosion and UV light, while maintains a medium resistance to abrasion.
