This assortment includes eight Dedeco® Sunburst® 1/2" x 1/2" diameter sanding bands and one expanding drum arbor mandrel—you get one each of eight different grits. Sanding bands are great for finishing and polishing, providing a uniform finish while protecting detail.Most applications can be performed between 3,000rpm and 18,000rpm. Use these bands at 3,000rpm to have greater flexibility with a softer touch, producing subtle results. Operate at 18,000rpm for more aggressive material removal. Use Sunburst® sanding bands in a coarse-to-fine grit order progression to easily achieve your desired finish. These bands should be used with the provided expanding drum arbor mandrel.Dedeco® Sunburst® sanding bands are impregnated with an aluminum oxide abrasive that delivers faster results and a longer life and require no polishing compound.
