Slim Chain-Nose Pliers

These slim chain-nose pliers have a smaller size and slender profile that make them ideal for the most delicate tasks; the lightweight tool is intended for use with finer gauges of wire. On chain-nose pliers, both jaws are semi-round with flat interior surfaces, tapering to a point from the pivot to the tip. The smooth interior surfaces of the jaws help prevent any marring of the workpiece. Use these pliers for opening and closing jump rings, flat crimping, making angled bends, and delicate wirework and wire wrapping.• These pliers have a box joint, in which one half of the joint surrounds the other half, and the pivot is contained within.
