These Swanstrom chain-nose pliers (S220E) are designed for the highest level of strength, durability and comfort; the medium size and jaw length make them a widely useful tool, suitable for all types of bench tasks, including opening and closing jump rings, flat crimping and making angled bends. On chain-nose pliers, both jaws are semi-round with flat interior surfaces, tapering to a point from the pivot to the tip. • These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • The Soft-Touch™ sure-grip foam handles are longer, wider and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use.
